Chapel

An important part of student life at Community Christian School is spiritual development through our chapels.  Chapel gives us an opportunity to set aside a special time for worship and Bible teaching. 

Elementary chapels are held every other Tuesday and are led by teachers or guest speakers.  The chapels are divided by age group, 1st-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade.  Preschool and Kindergarten do not participate in chapels.  Chapels combine prayer, salutes, music, and Bible teaching.  An offering is taken each time which helps to support missions around the world.

Junior high and high school chapels are held every Thursday.  There are two identical chapels back to back, and students attend with their Bible class.  All students will be in chapel either 2nd or 3rd hour.  Chapels are led primarily by guest speakers, including local pastors and youth ministers as well as CCS faculty, Christian entertainers, atheletes, missionaries and more.  Worship time is lead by the CCS Praise Team.
