BAND-A-THON

Band members are taking pledges now for 12 hours of non-stop music at the CCS Activity Center on Friday, March 8th.  Different groups will do something musical every hour!  The biggest benefit of our Band-A-Thon is that we get to keep 100% of the funds collected, instead of a part of the money going to a fundraising company.  This year, donations collected from the Band-A-Thon will go towards purchasing new instruments, additional uniforms, and various band-related expenses.

You may make a flat donation or pledge by the hour (multiplied by 12).  Our goal is for each student to get 10 people to pledge $3 per hour or give a flat pledge of $36, but any amount will be greatly appreciated.  Each family or individual making a donation will receive a donation letter in the mail after the fundraiser is complete.

Pledges must be paid at time of pledge.  Checks should be made payable to CCS Band Boosters.  Cash is accepted, as well.  If you would like to make an online credit card donation through PayPal, please click the Donate button below.

The Royal Pride Band, composed of 7th -12th graders under the direction of Mr. Dennis Sharp, is an excellent opportunity to perfect your music skills and share in the CCS school spirit. Band members demonstrate an amazing amount of discipline and dedication throughout the school year.  They have participated in several state competitions, march at all football games, play at basketball games, and perform concerts throughout the year.

Band meets as a daily class beginning at 7:50 am.  All students in the Royal Pride are expected to attend all athletic events in which the band plays, as well as all competitions and activites. Click here for more details.

Elementary Band

Elementary band is offered as an elective for 5th and 6th grade students. They perform concerts twice a year and participate in a spring competition.
